Kitten Season refers to the time of year between February/March and October/November when the weather warms and cats seek "company". It is during this time that we see litters and litters of kittens show up at shelters and on the street. Shelters throughout the country are flooded with cats and kittens and that's where we come in. We pull kittens from shelters and from the community into our rescue allowing shelters to take in more kittens.
This year has been an exceptionally difficult season. Shelters and rescues are overflowing. If you would like to help, support your local rescues and shelters through cash donations and by providing supplies. Most shelters and rescues have wish lists through Amazon and Chewy.
Fostering is another way you can help. Talk with your local shelters and rescues to see how easy and fulfilling fostering can be.
